Portman Jewellers is an independent family run Jewellers, established in 1985 by Mr and Mrs Portman and located in the heart of the Horbury town centre. The family business is now in the talented and skilful hands of their daughters Juliette and Rachael, who along with Julie and Jo continue the tradition of friendly, caring and knowledgeable service.

Renowned for our beautiful Georgian shop frontage where you will find an exhibition of our most fabulous Diamond, Ruby and Sapphire Jewellery. To one side you will enjoy perusing a soiree of the finest Diamond engagement rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelet and wedding rings. Each piece of jewellery is lovingly set within white gold, yellow gold, rose gold or platinum. To the other side you will adore our variety of semi-precious coloured gems. This is where we showcase our delightful Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, Opals, Pearls, Tanzanites, Topaz, Amethyst and any other amazing gem stone you can think of. It is a tantalising treat to spend time immersed within the cosmic collection of distinguished jewellery.

The enjoyment continues upon entering where you will be dazzled by our tantalising array of silver necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets. Our extensive range also includes a selection of gent’s cufflinks, silver jewellery, silver giftware, photo frames, christening gifts and crystal tableware.

We continue our longstanding tradition of providing superior quality of jewellery design. We guide you through the process of designing and creating new jewellery bespoke for your style. Using old, broken or precious and sentimental pieces we will hand make and transform them into your own personal jewellery masterpiece.

Behind the scenes we have a passionate and dedicated team of jewellers, silversmiths and goldsmiths. We are delighted to be able to carry out a vast assortment of alterations including but not limited to, rhodium plating, claw retipping, ring resizing, repairing chains or bracelets, restringing pearls, replacing clasps and catches. We provide a high class on site jewellery valuation service, each piece of jewellery is inspected, photographed and valued on the premises.

Our bespoke wedding ring service is dedicated to helping both brides and grooms select their perfect wedding ring. Our jewellers create fabulous contoured wedding rings commissioned to frame any style of engagement ring and can be tailored and embellished as you desire.
